Re: GCH married to USC returning after 3-year absence

The lawyers seem to be very lackadaisical. For how long this is going to take look at how long processing of these types of visas take from Singapore. I don't see why they would need the previous...

Re: What Do You Know Now That You Wish You Knew Before You Moved?

I've never got into that early dinner except when we had a young child. I have an English friend here and they eat at 5.30. I've wondered, do Spanish people eat late in their own homes. If, and it...

Re: What Do You Know Now That You Wish You Knew Before You Moved?

Re: Entry to US on green card. Do I need to present passport of country of birth

What Do You Know Now That You Wish You Knew Before You Moved?

Husband is US Citizen, I'm dual UK/US (OK and Canadian). There is a possibility he could be transferred to Madrid for his job. This would likely be a short term assignment (1 year) and not a...

Re: I-407 at port of entry

Bear in mind this was a number of years ago and I was living in Canada at the time. I sent my green card to where ever and applied for ESTA the same day. I kept a copy of the form relinquishing the...

Re: GCH married to USC returning after 3-year absence

I'm married to a USC, had a green card and then we moved to Canada and then back to the US. So yes, I have gone through the process twice. (And a lot more paperwork the second time around.) I...

Re: Abandon Permanent Residency (Green Cards)

Assuming this is the best decision for you, the other reason for formally relinquishing your PR status, is that you will be questioned about your GC if you enter the US especially if you drive...
