It looks weird to me. They dont guarantee a job.
How they can have LMIA if they are not a trucking company?
Doesnt make sense to me

I am not thinging of citizenship yet. It is still far far away.

I am glad to finally live more like I want to live. I enjoy my life in Canada much more now.

You can try Edge in Saskatoon. They have LMIAs I think. They always have some.
I was on the Ice Roads with them this year. And all their drivers were mainly from Serbia and were hired last November...

It looks like its a bit different in every trucking company but they usually pay bi-weekly the 15th and the 31st of each month.
But they pay backdated of course.

I am with Timeline logistic in Saskatoon.
I can only tell you what I heard but I can not guarantee it is true.
It looks like Timeline stoped bringing foreign...

I only know how it works in SK
After arriving with LMO and after 6 months of working for the company that brought you over...you can apply for PR...first with SINP in Regina....it usually takes...

sorry to hear that. I hope you find another way. Didnt hear anything about stoping all LMOs including for trucking companies.

After the phone interview and my compeny offering me a job....they emailed me a LMO and Job agreement and flight ticket....
after arriving in Canada I have been accomodated in Super 8 for 2...

I dont think trucking companies were abusing the system anyway....
Not many Canadians want to do a long haul.....as we all know :-)

as I could see in many newspapers....food servise companies...

you are right...I was looking at it only from my point of view becouse I believed we are all on similiar wages....
I dont talk to other drivers to ask them how much they earn but I think...

nothing said about Long haul truck drivers being classified as a low-wage...
at this point it looks to me that the changes coming are not going to...

As showen in the link I posted....
anything matching median wage or higher is "high-wage"

If in SK a median wage is 20 CAD per hour and in my contract I have got 28 CAD per hour I should be high...
