Traceroute is exactly that. Just a snapshot of the route to a target IP. Due to the nature of how the internet works it’s never an accurate indicator of speed or connection quality.

Then you could also put a wireless access point or even an old/ second WiFi router at the end of that cable. That will give you a good WiFi signal of your own.

Outside these areas (approximate) you could possibly pick up the signals OK on a larger dish.

A Freesat box would work if your signal is good, but I would not bother. With 4K and UHD TV there are now better receivers on the market.

I recently dumped my own Freesat box in favour of this...

ping google.com. (or another regularly used public website like yahoo.com)

Inssider used to be free for test purposes but not any more.

I would first investigate the EPA norms and restrictions based on the build year of the vehicles you wish to import, especially if you wish to drive them on public roads.
