Usually if theres something missing from the application ( and not always your fault either, they may loose stuff).

Save your energy. When I was stuck in a similar situation, all the person at the appointment could tell me was....yep they can see my application, and nope, can't tell you anymore. They really can't...

We didn't have to have a medical for our L visas, and i'm not sure H1B's do either.....

Which for those expats who then adjust to a green card, makes the medical really stupid... If i had TB,...

To your original question, i wouldn't normally suggest this, but getting your NVQ assessed via one of the education equivalency companies (WES is one of them) may be a good idea for you....

We came over on an L1B with my Husbands degree (but that was a 3rd that he bearly scrapped by with).

But is was the specialist knowledge and the fact that he was of only a handfull of people in...

Hand wash with a natural dye.... or as it's black, which sometimes takes a bit of dye Spot dye and then redye the entire garment.

USCIS have a internal time limit of 90days, but by all means they don't HAVE to do it by the 90days.
I've seen people get the EAD (I-766) in as little as 2 weeks, and I've waited as long as 6 months...

If you are familiar with the OU - why don't you take a look at their overseas section. They offer quite a variety now and they still work out pretty cheap even without the UK subsidy.

There is actually no need to go anywhere to "renew" the L1 etc.

The I797 that you get from USCIS approving any extension will have an extended I94 at the bottom.

This means that you can stay...

Not unless he is authorised to "work" using a different way (USC, H1B, etc. )

And nope, he's not even allowed to "work" for a UK company or via the internet......

When you received the RFE - did it give a time limit?

We had 30days to responded to an RFE on our medical.

The company lawyer at the time hinted that if we didn't comply that our application...

We used "Service Pro" for to find our deck and fence contractor and for a recent fireplace issue, and found them to be reasonable resource for the price of "Free".
It allowed us to see who was on...
