we realise he retains it but does he need to do anything before we go? and can I apply for relatives permit with his status as it is?

Hi everyone

I have some questions, if I may.

My husband is born and bred South African, he has lived in the UK 12yrs and got his British passport without retaining his South African passport...

I'm back!!!

We are still wanting to move to Asheville. We were contemplating a move to Cape Town but after much soul searching we know we can't live there with the way things are there...

Well the plot thickens...my husbands boss has just been on the phone offering him his job! he is being seconded elsewhere so my husband gets his job for 6 mths, and more than likely longer :ohmy:...

She'd been stuck in her stable for 3 days due to the snow, she went NUTS when we turned her out and a friend of mine, who happens to be a professional photographer, got loads of fabulous photo's....

Just checked out the DEFRA website and don't think it would be any harder to bring them back than to take them, in fact from January 2012 it will be even easier :D

Horsey people in the US?

Are there any horsey people on here living in the US? If so can you tell me the differences? e.g full livery, DIY how do the prices/services differ from here.
Also is it easy to Loan/share? ...

I probably wouldn't work, not until the 3yr old was a lot older.

No he wouldn't, not a clue! He is IT crew on the investment banking side. No doubt they will do all that for us. If I find anything...

It's a good thread, interesting in parts and annoying in others!

Yes we are lucky that husband will be working from home mostly with the odd commute to Charlotte, he is on a great salary over here...
