I am a Covid tester at a NHS testing centre. The person who does the tests at a walk in centre.

Normally, you have to be present in the UK for three years prior to applying to avoid international fees. However, it is worth speaking to the universities direct as sometimes they will waive this.

He can sponsor you for an491 visa as long as he lives in a regional area. However, this is exactly the same as applying for a 189 with the addition of sponsorship, which just gives some extra points....

I think most people are to some extent. I know my wife was probably more than me, but, four years down the line she is very happy we did. We were in Australia from 2008 to 2016
