If Bluebridge is Straits shipping they are way cheaper than the interislander, it was mainly used by commercial vehicles when we used it last.

UK chargers are fine they'll actually work from about 220v upto 250v anyway, just change the plugs or bring a british extention cable and put a NZ plug on that.

I wouldn't try flying with them, there are rules about Lithium batteries on flights and they'll have a fit about the nail guns at the airport, although with no gas cells they'de be hard pushed to...

Yep working it out cost wise I think it probably works out about the same as earning gb£18-20k at home

Also don't forget you can have a wet back (boiler) in the log burner to heat water and possibly a couple of rads.
You can add them to existing stoves but its really better to buy one designed to...

If possible look at ground source heat pumps (if you have a sufficient size plot) they are much more efficient than air source, they are uncommon at the moment though.

I've never seen them show a house that is less than perfectly presented either. As a lot of the people going over are trades then I can't imagine many of them wanting to pay full price for a place...

Have you got quotes from a few different shippers? Some will allow you to self pack and drop at their depot which saves a bit. 0.5 cubic m isn't much at all, have you tried to send it by a courier?
