Re: Breakfast Choices

My wife names all of our lambs and can't be with me when I take them to be slaughtered. She does, however, eat them once they have been returned. Make of that what you will.

Re: Breakfast Choices

We raise our own lambs and, after doing so, our slaughterhouse informed us that lots of people near us raise them and sell them too. We had no idea as trying to find lamb around here is like trying...

Re: Breakfast Choices

Find a local slaughterhouse and ask them to prepare it exactly as you like it. Rural towns seem to have them.

Re: Election 2021

Not necessarily. There was no vote of no confidence this time, just an opportunistic attempt that failed.

Re: Coronavirus

It's unfortunate that some are unable to have a discussion without resorting to name calling. I seem to recall that you did something similar on here when discussing the Brexit vote.

Re: Coronavirus

I imagine that part of the reluctance as that society was told that the vaccines would put an end to the issues resulting from the pandemic. However, fully vaccinated are still being admitted while,...

Re: Coronavirus

Evidence please.

Here's a link to the article that I referred to above, I appreciate that it is somewhat out of date: Typical 'vaccine hesitant' person is a 42-year-old Ontario woman who votes...

Re: Coronavirus

There are 2 things wrong with that assumption. Fully vaccinated are being admitted. Those that are not vaccinated are most likely to be 41 year old female Liberal voters, if my memory serves me...

Re: Coronavirus

Are the political preferences of those admitted to hospital collected in BC? Are you able to point to any evidence that those spreading Covid are "right wing loons"? If you do, let's see it...

Re: Emma Raducanu!

IIRC it was Steve Cram that, when asked at a major tournament how he felt about all the British support he would be receiving, said something like, "Britain doesn't get up with me to train every...

Re: Emma Raducanu!

Isn't it her choice as to which endorsements she chooses to accept?

Re: Coronavirus

I'm fully vaccinated too, but I fail to see what that has to do with anything.

The distinction that you made and which I have highlighted, was not made by the other poster.

Re: Election 2021

Sounds like a replay of the 2015 election. The issue here is that I haven't heard a single substantive response to how Singh will actually achieve all that he is promising beside, "Tax the wealthy...

I didn't write the article and, once again, you are comparing two different things.

Re: Coronavirus

I take it that you accept that the vaccine is not a silver bullet and that people will continue to suffer the effects of C-19 whether or not all are fully vaccinated?

I bet that C-19 will still be...

Re: Coronavirus

You would lose that bet and, even if it was true, so what? I don't believe that anyone is disputing that most people will suffer few ill effects of contracting C-19. Trump and Johnson are hardly the...

Re: Coronavirus

I don't know about other places in the world but, in Alberta, 20% of those in hospital with C-19 have been fully vaccinated.

As I stated above, society is going to have to learn to live with this....

So, if their inability to be to be able to have to the vaccine is a genuine one (medical issue) are they to be denied the service, or should an exemption be made? If it is safe for one unvaccinated...

Re: Coronavirus

With respect, covid hasn't done any of that either, governments have in their attempt to control it.

There are States in the US that have, and have not, locked down, with similar results. I have...
