I didn't use anybody. I filled in the transfer forms myself and sent them in. Simple. saved myself the fees/commission. Maybe you should consider doing that too.

Re: Banking Suggestions

Hi there

Folk get very animated about banks over here. The BE community will doubtless have loads of good/bad stories with all the banks. In terms of a basic savings account to have a salary paid...

Bramley apples in or around Melbourne

I'm pining for an apple crumble made from nice Bramley apples to get that lovely tart flavour....not exactly common here. Spent 30 mins wandering around the Queen Vic market to no avail.

Does...

Re: ITIL Service Transition - In Demand?

Hi

The short answer is yes, there are jobs in this area. Can't comment on quite how many, though I'd suspect there would be quite a few.

With a number of major outsource providers such as IBM...

Re: Finding IT job after getting Australia PR

Yes, you can apply. There's no law against it :)

However, the majority of Australian employers and agencies will only really consider applications once you are actually residing in Australia.

Re: New in Melbourne, Seeking Insurance Job

Hi there

As a rule of thumb, you can expect a slowdown in recruitment in December and even more so in January. It is holiday season. Local contractors would rather avoid job seeking in January...

Re: Working in Traralgon, where to live ?

Given that is a 120 round trip from Warragul to Traralgon, I'm not entirely clear why you'd not want to live in Traralgon itself? Is there something wrong with Traralgon?

Both are very much towns...
