Re: E2 Visa, Company being sold. How will this affect me?

Ah right, I had thought it was majority. That (privately) tells me something very interesting about my employer and the path we were originally exploring!

Re: E2 Visa, Company being sold. How will this affect me?

Agree a lawyer is what you need here as there may well be aspects to this deal that change things, and you'd also hope your employer has thought about this...but yeah the E-2 employer needs to be...

Re: Pet Transportation USA to UK

We flew our dog back from LA about a month ago, via BA/IAG Cargo. It was pretty seamless. We could only book her onto a flight a maximum of 2 weeks before departure.

Fill in the form here and...

Re: E2 Spouse EAD Processing Times

Can you source that? I haven't seen any successful attempts lately on BE at least, with a general discouragement of trying from most other members.

Re: E2 Spouse EAD Processing Times

Califorina service centre recently issued a renewal to us in 90 days precisely.

You are unlikely to be able to expedite - it's just not a thing any more. It worked a few years ago if you had a...

Re: E2 Investor Visa USA

What's so important about a lawyer being US based? Most of these processes operate from outside of the US so that doesn't make a lot of sense to me. The E-2 process if petitioned within the US is...

Re: E2 Investor Visa USA

I am on an E-2. If L is an option for you, go for it. E2s are most definitely a visa from hell.

Re: Anyone recently got their Parole Card (I512/ employment authorization card)?

I don't know if this is wholly relevant but an ordinary EAD without AP, so not the combo card, arrived about 3 weeks after receiving notification of I-787 approval, between June and July of this year.

E-2 Derivative EAD timeline - a datapoint

Just a point of information, my spouse's EAD renewal has been processed and delivered in precisely 3 months to the day. California service center. This seems an improvement on general timelines these...

Re: Student visa delays?

Any reasonable person can see why this is a reckless decision to enforce on a student with no warning.

I can completely understanding why new F-1s are not being issued, but kicking kids out of the...

Moving back to the UK

After a pretty enjoyable 3 years in California, we've made the call to move back to the UK in early September. Current economic pressure has made affordability a serious issue for us, and frankly...

Re: IMMIGRANT VISA

That was me, I've since learned you may not be able to enter Turkey right now, so it's probably not an option.

Re: B2 visa help

You've just been told by an ex-attorney that this is widely regarded as a bad move. Don't do it.

Re: Has anyone successfully received a US visa with a UK criminal record

As usual some of the language on here aimed at OP is unnecessarily direct, but the intent is fair.

I agree with the advice you've been given, you have a potential misrep issue. Given your crimes...

Re: B2 visa help

That's a mistake on my part then - I read the previous mentions as the consulates.

Out of interest - what did they say to him?

Re: Working remotely for another job in the UK

That is a very interesting read, Mr. Folinsky. Thank you.

To OP, ordinarily I would say no, you can't legally do what you're asking.

Right, I'm with you now.

So in principle, what you're talking about can be done, and I believe USCIS should be working in a way that can process what you want to do.

You have a 60 day grace...

Generally, Non-immigrant visas cannot be issued within the US, so I don't believe question 1 is possible (if that's what you mean by your "onshore" wording). Trump's announcement does not currently...
