We recently has a ICE loaner vehicle and my wife was complaining how the car was not smooth and was noisy. I don't miss the gas smell when backing out of the garage, very few trips to the gas...

AV gas is 100 octane ethanol free gasoline. I tend to use it for my garden tools and generator as the ethanol seems to cause more water retention than ethanol free gas , especially over winter. Plus...

My Pacifica has a 12 kWh battery and takes around two hours to charge from the dryer outlet at 29 amps. We have a 40 amp circuit for the dryer in the garage.

I can't remember the form I filled in, but I put my US address. I get mail sent to me once a year to the US from HMRC

Here in Oregon it's around $5.30 for the cheap stuff and just over $6 for diesel. I'm still paying 17c/kWh for the EV, that's about to go up 4%.

Chargers are just getting faster. EVs certainly fill a gap in the market. I go to the gas station about 4 times a year now. Messes up my grocery store gas rebates.

I'm surprised California hasn't got further with v2h technology. The Mitsubishi Outlander has 2x1.5 KW 110v outlets coming off the driving battery. This can easily be used as a generator if needed....
