Re: Chicago

You're welcome : )
Best of luck with your job search. It takes a while to find a job in Illinois, and you might have to work in other fields for a while to keep an income.

Re: Chicago

OK, thanks. There's not much there, I guess it depend on the work you do whether you can find anything there, but its also not a bad commute to Chicago if you drive. Not much public transport there!

Re: NHS

Specialist services are being scaled back to fund the demand on A&E, which is a gateway into the system.

Re: NHS

[QUOTE=Giantaxe;10540416]Firstly, the NHS consists of more than A&E. Most patient visits are to a GP or a specialist. Secondly, were you personally responsible for checking etc

You are welcome to come visit next time you are in the UK.

Re: NHS

Perhaps next time you are in the UK you can spend a day with me working in A&E? Those numbers are spot on. NHS usage has always been disproportionate to the population in general.
As i said in a...

Re: NHS

NHS numbers are rarely seen in reality anymore. By definition they should be supplied when a patient is registered, but as nobody has them, reception staff have given up asking for them.
If you...

Re: NHS

Whether you have seen it recently or not, the NHS is slowly imploding.
After a decade of reducing A&E waits to 4 hours, its now back up to 12 hours plus, with frail elderly patients stuck in A&Es...

Re: Green Motion Car Hire @ Heathrow - Avoid

I don't use the big airport based companies for that reason, its impossible to resolve anything with them.

Re: AA Chicago - Manchester Service

Strange that flights on this route on expedia.com are in the region of $3000, but same flight on expedia.co.uk is around £500.

Re: When do you stop being surprised?
