Re: New entry travel rules from non EU / Schengen countries

It's probably good to make traveling as uncomfortable as possible. In truth we should be discussing climate change and what we need to do to prevent Europe from turning into a desert. Not flying and...

Re: Amazon Prime

I canceled Prime a while ago. Delivery times was never an issue for me though because I don’t care if my order arrives in 2 or 4 days.

My reason for canceling was the delivery fees. I am using...

Re: Energy efficiency of houses

Thank you both. We are planning on moving to France permanently in a few years. So I guess we could be eligible for financial support. I was hoping that the law is already written and enacted. But as...

Re: How to avoid German customs payment for parcels from the UK?

Re: How to avoid German customs payment for parcels from the UK?

Receiving gifts from third countries is a hassle. If the gift is worth more than 45Euros you have to pay duty. If customs is not sure what is in the package they hold the package and you have to go...

Re: ANTI SQUATTER PETITION

Maybe people that own second homes should be punished. They push up prices, make housing unaffordable for the people living there, make most communities deserted shitholes for most of the year. I see...

Re: ISIS bride to return to New Zealand?

You know what always pissed me off about my very dear Christian friend from the US? That she is convinced that you can't be a good, moral person if you do not believe in the Christian God. Now this...

Sorry scot47. I hope you get to come visit again. If not I am sure you left your mark visiting Germany, getting to know the people, finding friends. As we say "Niemals geht man so ganz".

Re: Questions on moving back

I would endeavour to have the same citizenships as my children. That way I always have the option to join them regardless of what country they choose and happens to my marriage.

Re: Questions regarding healthcare and pension when living in Europe

With this line of argument you can argue against maths, science, arts etc in school. You don't need any of this to be a good parent or a kind person.

Re: Would it be an absolute folly to move back to the UK?
