Re: Children's Car Seats

I spent 2 years as a crash investigator for NHTSA. Occasionally we’d have an accident involving a child restraint and would have to document it quite extensively. One thing I never recall seeing is...

Re: Worried and feeling uncertain about moving to US? How did you deal with thes

Leaving friends and family is definitely...

Re: Car Rentals: LHR

Booked my car through rentalcars.com. Got an SUV for a great price for the length of my trip. The car was through Alamo, I was very impressed with their service. I was in and out in minutes, both...

Re: Red Arrows Announce 2019 USA?Canada Tour

They seem to be pretty much unheard of over here, so it will be good to see them come over and show the Yanks what a proper display team looks like. Just wish they were flying a little closer to me.

Re: Planespotting II

It’s an eternity when your in the plane, but it’s within response time. The CAA (or probably EASA now) response time is 2 minutes. The FAA time is 3 minutes. I presume the Russians have similar...

Re: Bay Area

The Tenderloin has always been the armpit of SF. I stayed there with the missus a few years back cause it was cheap. We didn’t have any issues, but every street corner had small gangs lurking looking...

Re: Planespotting II

The Russian incident does have casualties. At least 2 dead so far. **edit** and rising unfortunately.
Those 2 incidents just go to show that in modern aviation, if the crew get the plane back down...
