The union is begging for 1000 new officers over the next couple years, state elextion is up in March I think so if the different parties both promise to deliver even 500 I can't see them picking up...

Also, one funny thing about WA is that your mortgage repayments can end up being lower than rent if you're prepared to build a new 3x2 or 4x2 townhouse in the southern suburbs.

Unfortunately they vary from station to station and between different districts but shifts are either 8 or 10 hours.

Generally you work one week of "Days" and one week of "Lates" being...

Like I said in an earlier post, they will raise the maximum experience bracket as they need to recruit a lot more officers.

I'm not saying ALL or the MAJORITY left WAPOL and got civilian jobs elsewhere, I'm getting at the fact that some did and enough of a percentage did for WAPOL to see that their recruitment was...

Yes I've used the interactive firing range (also has stupid American scenarios etc) And no you "Tap your magazine to ensure it's in place, you roll your hand up onto the Slide and you RACK it back...

I don't think there are fitness requirements for transitional officers, or there wasn't a few years ago.

Firearms are not too difficult, you do simple tests from 2,4,6 & 8 metres. 3 rounds in 5...
