Cheap Car Rentals Melbourne

Can anyone give me some company names for cheap hire cars in Melbourne? I have checked all the big names (Hertz/Budget/Avis etc) and they are far too expensive!

There must be some cheap leasing...

one more question.

Do they ask for proof of when you stopped working in middle east, ie pay slips etc. Or is proof of your return to UK acceptable, or even starting a new UK job ok?

so regarding the 91 days rule, can i return on the 6th Jan? Therefore the 91 days will be accounted for the period between 6th Jan and 5th April? Or do you have to stay til 5th April?

Ok, my story is summarised as follows:

4 years ago i absconded back to UK due to my job not working out in Dubai. I didnt have any debts or convictions but my company listed me as absconding.

this is what i did last time but when im only visiting my boyfriend in Qatar for a weekend it adds an annoying 45mins to my journey!

maybe the only option.....

I remember someone once telling me that there was some land next to AD airport where you can leave your car for free. Is this true? Do you get parking fines? And where is it exactly?

i absconded 4 years ago, tried to return to UAE 6 months ago, couldnt get the abscondment lifted so just got a job with a european company in Qatar. Been working in...
