hey guys- made it over!

After a bit of info. I have some us dollars I need to send to my UK bank account asap.

I do not have a US bank account yet-should have a Citi account set up on Tuesday....

I'm new to all the usa immigration issues, but the first thing I did through my sponsoring company was speak to an immigration attorney to find out if it was possible. Then I did loads of my own...

with all due respect mate, you need a visa first!

esta is not a visa and you cannot work on it. My understanding is a b1 visa is not a working visa either. you cant just move to the usa and start...

My advice would be just relax and try to enjoy it. The people I encountered we're very friendly. I saw 2 people get rfe's in front of me though, they weren't too impressed.

I did 3 two week trips on esta over 3 months to scope out homes, Areas, meetings with petitioner etc no problem.

I have been working as a contractor for my petitioner Uk based during the petition...

h1b interview this morning

Approved!

Pretty straight forward really.

Appt was 8 am arrived at 7.30 with my wife and 4 year old son, around
20 people in the queue.

We went through security, got our appt form, receipts...

There's a world food store near the buckhead loop in atlanta, next door to the kroger, opposite the twin peaks bar. Got some decent stuff in there, bit expensive though.

Original approved I-797 received from attorney, ds160s filled out for me and family, interview booked for late september! :thumbsup::fingerscrossed:

Mine should have been adjudicated by mid july, my attorney called VSC and they said they were running 38 days behind schedule. After the 38 days attorney called again and they said end of september...

Just had the petition approved, mine was filed mid may so you may want to get in touch with your attorney.
