Do we care about the one-dayers now it's 3-0?

3-nil down and the Aussies on top in a 7 game one-day series.

Can we beat them or do we really care about pyjama cricket during the English team's post-Ashes holiday? :sneaky: What do you think?

Re: Housing in Oz

Aussie homes are badly built, cold in winter and very inefficient. Wood stoves work OK due to good radiance. Warm air is exactly that but dear to run. There are no radiators it's so dry they don't...

Re: 1st Speeding Fine in 12 years

If you had put 20 bucks in a jar each year to cover for this sort of thing you would be well ahead.

I only ever got a camera offence twice in the Uk. The cops if they stop you in UK usually let...

They are a species of Diptera, some sort of fly larvae, living in the moist substance. The tube is to breath air. They aren't a problem or infestation. Just clean up and they will disappear.

Re: Australia really is the most phenomenally overrated concept/place ever, isn't it.

You can get gorgeous sunshine on a freezing cold day, anywhere. It's 10:30 pm here in Adelaide and the weather is just about bearable. Tomorrow will be 43. Monday will be 43. This place is Hell on...

Re: Australian bank recommendations?

I've lived here 6 years. Left Commonwealth after a short time too many rip off charges. HSBC not too bad here nor Members Equity, part of Westpac. Avoid Bankwest.
