That describes the current situation, no mention of it lasting for 2 years.

I think it will last until there is a vaccine and/or very efficient airport testing, but hope that at least one of these...

You don't pay tax on your Primary Residence in Australia and no tax to take the money back to the UK so you can do it whenever you choose.

Topping up UK National Insurance before returning

Has anyone looked into this?

Looks like if you're "Living and working abroad" you can pay the (much cheaper) Class 2 rates to top up UK NI and therefore maximise your state pension?

If you qualify for Class 2 it's much less as stated above however, but for 9 grand:

For what reason? Obviously there is no dividend, however they may be speculating on price appreciation.

Of course it could be an alternative to "cash under the mattress" too...
