I used Seven Seas Worldwide to ship household stuff from the UK to Canada. They delivered the 'Move Cube', basically a wooden box that comes in various sizes.

All I had to do was pack the box full...

I have until 12/08/2017 to land. It states in my COPR that this is the maximum and cannot be extended.

My mate at work recently got his COPR and they gave him a year too.

This appears normal. My cover letter says the same, but I didn't receive the IMM5785.

I googled it and it doesn't appear to exist. All you need is the COPR.

I got an email from CIC yesterday stating my visa had been approved and I received my COPR in the post this morning.

I got an email from CIC today saying to check my online account as it's been updated. Appears they're started background checks, but eligibility still says 'review in progress'.

I can't think of any logical reason why immigration, citizenship, passport, driving license etc photos aren't all the same size...

PR photos are now 50mm x 70mm, with a chin to crown size of 31-36mm.

My SA was 25th Jan and both still showing as 'In process' too. Is this normal?

This is a painfully slow process, made worse my the lottery of if your applications goes to London or Ottawa!
