To clarify to anyone in the same boat. If you are applying to go through BUNAC and you are 30, you can still go up until Jan the following year, so long as you apply for the visa before you turn 31....

Well I just applied for my place anyway. This is my last chance to get onto the programme. The form itself said I had to be 30 to enter, but on their FAQ page it says something else:

Did this change then? I read on the website that you have to enter when you're 30. Could someone clarify where the 31 entry was posted? Or has it changed for the new programme visa?

Maybe I'm completely wrong, but I heard that so long as you apply for a visa before you turn 31, you can enter into Canada on the Bunac scheme (latest end of January 2010) even if you are 31, but...

So I'm currently researching on doing a recce trip to either Vancouver or Toronto (or both if I can) to gauge which is more my type of location.

I know the winters get very cold in Canada compared...

I'm more front end with javascript/ajax/xsl and so on. Haven't even thought of Kamloops (maybe because I hadn't heard of it :o). To be honest I'm more geared towards city life...hence the locations...

Really? I haven't read that anywhere...do you have a resource anywhere suggesting that...Seeming as Edmonton is in Alberta, I'd benefit from the single tax payment on expenses!!!
