I'm from a little town originally and find Christchurch to be a large buzzing metropolis, whereas I know Londoners who really struggled with how small Chch feels and hated the slow pace of life....

There doesn't seem to be much between Southern cross, NIB and AA on price. I guess it's down to the small print. (I used NIB on recent trip to Nepal, 11 days at around $72).

From my experience, don't get the cheapo $10 sockets. I had my mancave rewired and used these, only to have to replace them a year later.

See a few parts of the UK that you've never got round to. If bringing a shipping container or lots of baggage, bring a years supply of common OTC medicines. Antihistamines etc over here can be pricey.

Honestly... I have no idea, my tax advisor does all my returns, when I give him a big pile of my statements and other business stuff. I just pay the bills, should probably check in to that.
