they have a pilot program so some people are doing online tests followed by online oath. It seems to be a bit random...

We did it ourselves. It’s easy. Much easier than PR I think.

We applied on paper. It’s only been in the last couple of months that you can apply online.

We’re waiting and waiting for our citizenship. We applied in Sept 2019....

You use the same UCI number that you had when you got PR and it’s on the back of your card.

There’s nothing to see...

HST and income tax are the highest in NS. So once you’ve paid those you might find another province is just as good/better.

I lived for 3 years in NS. Loved the experience but moved 7 years ago...

I had the flu twice winter 2018/19 and decided the shot was better than going through that again!

landlords get nervous about new arrivals. You might have to offer to pay first and last three or four months to get it done. PM me if you want more...

Pre Covid it took us 3 months to get an AOR.

We were “in process” Feb 24th and nothing since.

From what I can see people who sent their apps in Feb are starting to get AORs. So I would settle...

I usually fall asleep very easily. But staying asleep all night can be a challenge. If I have a business deal that is worrying me then I'll wake up around 3am and spend the next 3 hours or so...

We found a couple of cheap options but that was 10 years ago. You dialled an 0845 number then the Canadian number. So it just cost the price of a local call...

We're 10 months in from when we sent our application. It's a bit like watching paint dry now... so I spend as little time thinking about it as I can and at some point we will be positively surprised.

I would hazard a guess that foreign buyers account for some of that. With the Non Resident Tax that foreign buyers have to pay in the GTA its very expensive for them to buy. But in NS they can still...
