Re: President Trump

I have never seen someone boast as much as Trump does. It truly is pathetic, but what is more pathetic is how the grass roots conservatives keep giving him a pass.

Re: President Trump

It's a rightwing meme, which has its origins in the touchy-feely way Joe interacts with some women. At the same time, the right downplays or just outright ignores the misogynistic things Trump has...

Re: Men and their clothing choices

Re: A boy for Meaghan and Harry, getting ready to answer a thousand questions

Archie is such a weird name to give someone in this day and age. I can only think of the comics and Archie Bunker when I hear that name. It's the sort of name that would get a kid lampooned and...

Re: WTF back in the UK

It's the other way around. The base 10 numeral system and zero are an Indian invention that Arabs traders adopted . Europe became aware of the Indian system from Arab traders. Incidentally, the...

Re: WTF back in the UK

Wonder how many of those chuckling at the parody and the resultant reaction even know that 'Arabic' numerals are really Indian numerals.

Re: Holiday in Sri Lanka in May

While I agree that SL is still safe, the danger with ISIS is a lot different than the Civil War situation that existed. ISIS specifically targets civilians, especially Christians . In SL, their aim...

Re: Formula 1 fans?

What a cock up. Drain cover then the knuckle boom on the truck towing the car hits the underside of a bridge, dripping oil on the car.

Re: Despicable comments from former BBC jouro on the Sri-Lanka bombing

If that was the case, why was it necessary for leaders in the West and Jacinta Arden to point out that the victims of the NZ killings were Muslims, the perpetrator was a white supremacist and that...

Re: Despicable comments from former BBC jouro on the Sri-Lanka bombing

I doubt he would say that of Islamists. I can think of another person who would say "some people did something"

Re: Despicable comments from former BBC jouro on the Sri-Lanka bombing

If / when the victims read the comments, it will hurt them. People "say prayers" for the victims of tragedies in part as a means to comfort the victims and to let them know they are in their thoughts...

Re: YouTube ad blitz

Not sure what you mean by "on the video itself" . Do you mean the short video adds that precede the start of a video or the little add windows that cover some of the video and can often be removed by...

Re: Notre Dame de Paris is Burning

If strength and weight are an issue, and judging by the amount of money pouring in and the French government's promise to restore it fully, why not just go with Carbon Fiber beams.

Resistance to...
