I just got an email from the Consulate in Vancouver - ETDs are NOT acceptable for travel to the USA under the Visa Waiver Programme - you have to also have a US Visa!!:frown:

I'm not holding my breath - apparently payment was only taken 24 June (application sent mid-May) and I'm supposed to be flying off...

I'm having great difficulty too in getting any info about how to get an ETD - the nearest consular office is in Vancouver and I'm in Alberta! Supposed to be travelling this weekend
