Nahhhhhh would rather make my own thanks :p Its not like the rest of the meal is good enough to justify the journey IMO - one man or womans curry heaven is not necessarily mine :rolleyes:

Yeah but depends on your area - they are crying out for civil design engineers, mining engineers and chemical engineers - the reality is though that there is not much demand for manufacturing...

Can't comment on Xmas concerts as don't have any kids yet but have found Australians in general nothing but friendly and polite - here in the Bayside area I've even found people apologise...

Indian curries in Glasgow are just that - Indian!!!!! Most of my local Indian restaurants (not balti's - thats an English concept having balti restaurants) are run by indians who have lived in India...

Hrs are 7.30am to 4pm Mon Fri - occasional Saturday (but hardly any) and the odd night of being on call via phone only (no visit) for palliative patients.

Yes I was meaning Debit cards - it happened in Sydney - in 2 seperate restaurants - they only took credit not debit cards which I thought was strange as I used my switch card all the time in...

Not tried many Indian restaurants yet donna so you may well be right but I don't think its a patch on the Indian cottage in Kirkintilloch or my fav Indian restaurant - Zeera in Bishopbriggs or Kama...

Birkdale curry nice but just 'OK' to me - nothing like the fab curries I used to have in Glasgow. We had Thai takeaway tonight and it was beautiful - so maybe i'll find something else to enjoy...
