Not at all we have both had renewals with the SRRV sticker put into a page on the new ones. some wives go for "Dual citizen" passports or status but we find no real need for this. Buying land is done...

A couple we know started a mobile phone business some years ago and it was doing very well until other Filipino stores opened around them that reduced their income and caused them to close down.

the SRRV provides a cheap visa for "returning Filipinos" and so if the lady is a Filipino with foreign nationality she can enter under this ruling for a small cost of about $300. We did it this way...

If your Filipino wife has a foreign passport she can join the SRRV as a "returning Filiipino" for something like 300$. This sum stays in the bank as a bond and there is no annual fee.
