Update on TOR..... my application was MIA...... resent all my info and a super helpful guy had me a TOR number next day! To late for the dog, but good to go for my container.

TOR update, my dog landed in the UK on Sunday, no TOR number so an immediate payment of 425 pounds vat!
Finally got a response to a follow up email I sent about 13 days ago...... they 'couldn't...

Factor in the weather too, I'm flying a couple of hours ahead of my puppy, and my shipping lady has prepared me to have a contingency plan, because If the temp hits 30, the airline will not ship...

Again, I'll second that this is totally correct for Alberta. No different to if my son moved to the UK with his Canadian learners, they don't recognize it.

The 5 day rule is still a thing, I'll probably fly on the 16th as well, TOR is transfer of residence, and she can fly without it, just means she'll be subject to me paying more money (VAT)

Day trips to Butlins at Bognor, always remember the big glass window you could see the swimmers though, and unlimited "fair ground" rides, big things as a kid! Oh and my mums warm egg sandwiches 😱
