These were to cover the funds we sent on two occasions if the company went bust. A lot of builders charge 1% of the purchase price for these guarantees and some don't offer them at all.

There has been an update in the papers about this in Costa Blanca a few weeks ago stating that this was not a botched robbery.

The man had died in a fall and the lady had died trying to help him.
