What I don't understand is why is the UAI score needed to get into a teaching degree lower than the score needed to get into a surfing or a wine degree????

Try not to take it too serious...... but in all fairness, Perth did have a competition for people to win tickets to be the first on the train, and they even made a TV program about it...

I wouldn't live in the UK for the same reasons I wouldn't live in New Zealand or Spain or Sweden or China or UAE..... Like them for holidays but don’t personally appeal to me as a place to live/work...

Well if they were living outside of Australia then they would be, wouldn’t they? They’d be British (technically) and they'd be expats (living outside their home country).

My Mum is a Pom so got it through decent, I have British, Irish and Australian passports, but I’d say I feel Irish more than the rest, simply because that’s where I was born and grew up and where I’m...

I'm not, only the top bit of the Emerald Isle is part of the UK, I’m from the south :)

Know your history, by the time I was born the UK only had the top bit left. I still get the passport though...

You don't have to be actually from the UK to be British; I have a British passport, which makes me a British citizen, which technically makes me British.... But I'm not from the UK, nor would I ever...

Don’t you also have a TV licence in the UK? The greater proportion of RTÉ's activities are public service activities but the cost of providing these services is well in excess of the amount of public...
