Re: Anyone brought Duty Free liquids in cabin since Jan?

The article says that even if it's in the official sealed duty free bag they still reserve the right to make you check it, I'd like to think they wouldn't do that very often.

Re: Anyone brought Duty Free liquids in cabin since Jan?

You're right it's mostly not worth it, but there are one or two things that I can't get here, at least where I live. I've been on the look out for Gordon's Sloe gin since I've lived here but haven't...

Re: Anyone brought Duty Free liquids in cabin since Jan?

Touché :) however, in my defense the linked article details all that. I assumed posters here would read it, and I further assumed that in reading it would realize that I understand the difference in...

Re: Anyone brought Duty Free liquids in cabin since Jan?

Re: Uk passport renewal times in the USA

I see there is an email address at the end for a reporter from the Daily Mail:

Have you had to cancel a holiday because of passport office delays? Tell us. Email [email protected]

Re: Expedited UK child passport? (expired - renewal)

Lansbury, thanks, this helped me see that short of a miracle there is no way that the passports will be back in time, the passport system seems to be a bit of a shambles right now.

I talked to...

Re: Expedited UK child passport? (expired - renewal)

So I've seen the long thread from Tonrob about how to accumulate miles and so on, that would be a longer term prospect for me perhaps, but I probably don't fly often enough to gain significant miles...

No advice to offer, just sorry to hear the debacle you are in. I hope you can keep abreast of the situation this time and that the outcome will be more favourable.
