I assumed that onshore referred to a Portuguese property and would therefore be a Portuguese company. Isn't any other nationality of company, by definition, offshore?

You missed the bit in the small print where the feed-in tariff for solar power generated between midnight and 5:00 am is 50 cents per kWh.

So it's still viable if you manage your consumption...
