Still doesn't answer the issue of allowing vaccinated but untested people to access all areas....otherwise it will still be spread like wildfire...

Personal allowances here are much smaller than the Uk for those not at retirement age. About half I think (could be wrong and someone will correct me)

We are with Santander and have nothing but good service.
Opened Non res accounts and told the branch we were planning to buy property, they gave me 6 months free banking and then halved the charge...

Got to agree 100% there..

Living in a more rural area, to me has more downs than ups.

A couple we are friends with live up the CV70 towards Guadalest (one of this areas busiest tourist places)...

If your wife has an EU country passport then you don't need the NLV or the money required, just come here and she registers and you get in as a family member of an EU citizen

With two of you, it will be cutting it close with €10,000 and because you have to show the €32,000 as some form of income there may be tax to pay on this somewhere.

€10,000 is €833 a month.

For residency healthcare is even required for EU citizens.

You may struggle to get full healthcare if you have existing conditions or...

But when you return and try to get a Spanish licence you will have to take the test if an agreement has not been reached.

I doubt they would consider swapping it again.

It would be fairly easy to check if resident and no Spanish licence seeing as your NIE is the form of ID on the thing.

But the important bit here is 'Full valid licence'
Spanish and other Eu licences are only valid for 10, 5 or less years depending on age and health.

So a Spanish driver of 50 with only 2 years...

You need to distance yourself from the agent who gave you the advice.

You can get the T&C's for most health insurances from the providers websites. That form I linked to was direct from Aegon.
