Mine were 17 and 14
17 year old, didn't take to kiwi life, but he wasn't keen to come in the first place. He wasn't unhappy here. He had plenty of friends and we saw him come out of his shell a lot...

I have the same dilemma coming up
I'm bringing a friend over for a holiday and have to spend a few days escorting her around Auckland while trying to look enthusiastic

I recently mentioned that a house was for sale in whangaparoa for less than it was for sale 6 years ago when I considered buying it .
there does seem to be a definite slowdown, it's being reported...

6-2 shifts = even more time at home everyday to spend with loved ones
night shift= collect sons from school, spend time with them, put them to bed at night and take them to school in the morning

I really disagree with this comment. It has absolutely nothing to do with being cashed up (I'm not) and everything to do with personal outlook and attitude. I work shifts, sometimes 7 or 8 in a row...

My eldest son went back to the UK after just 18 months in NZ, never to return
