Unless the rules have changed since we got PR...you have to land with in 12 months of the medical date not the date the visa was granted. Which means that for some they have very little time to get...

Blue cross are ok, but we had to claim for Tiger who came off the plane ill with a pharygitis. They paid up for consult and meds but only after about 5-6 phone calls and getting passed from pillar to...

Thanks all. Seems that its going to be a longer (and more expensive) process than I thought. Trying to get through to the CRNBC(phone lines constantly busy)to ask these questions but it seems looking...

You will need to get some interim insurance from blue cross(amongst others) for the first 3 months until you get your care card. My understanding however is that it doesn't cover you for pre existing...

As an aside...PBS that I mentioned threw the crate and (accessories ) in for nothing if we used Pickfords. We decided not to use Pickfords in the end but I still got the crate for nothing.
