My situation and concern is similar to yours. My lawyers also said the same thing that the L1B visa may be rejected because of the travel ban. I had a post on this website and received some feedback...

Thanks. That's what I thought and I pointed to the lawyers. But they kept saying the visa would get rejected because of the UK travel restrictions. Asked me to wait for the restrictions to be lifted...
