Re: moving to spain from another eu country

Yes, there have been some discussions on this issue during the transition period, but there is nothing in the WA itself or in the agreement reached on Christmas Eve actually specifying such rights....

Re: moving to spain from another eu country

In short, there is no onward freedom of movement for UK citizens now resident in an EU state under the withdrawal agreement. It is possible there is a further negotiation with EU to create it, but it...

Re: Sabadell now charging to receive payment from UK

I have N26 euro account with Spanish IBAN, which I use to transfer from my UK sterling account using Transferwise. Have done a transfer in euro in January and no extra charge was levied by N26.

Re: Spanish National Health Prescriptions - Costs

I don't know about the change in regulations or Brexit fallout, but drug companies can and do raise prices. I believe Spanish state pension age is now 66 (was 65 until end of 2020). Also contribution...

Re: Gibraltar 2

I have heard that although a basic agreement has been reached between UK (also representing Gibraltar) and Spain over Gibraltar's entry into the Schengen area, it is subject to approval by the EU...

Re: Moving to Spain post brexit.

They aren't currently accepting any new applications under the Covid restrictions. When they eventually restart, the backlog and pent-up demand will probably stretch the processing time to 3-4 years.

Re: NIE Post-Brexit Residency Question

There is no such thing as green NIE. What you have is green residency certificate, either A4 size sheet or credit-card sized cardboard. It has your NIE on it but it basically is a proof of your...

Re: Is this the end for Expats that want to move from the UK to Spain post brexi

Your mother got her Irish citizenship from her father born in Ireland, so no need to register on foreign births register like you, which is really time-consuming.
You can get a visa to live in...

Re: Moving to spain - working in the uk.

I know that, but I assumed that Spain and other EU countries are in a position to issue similar document to UK frontier worker on the basis of reciprocity.

Re: Is this the end for Expats that want to move from the UK to Spain post brexi

I don't know. UK citizen with UK licence has to initiate exchange by 31st December. If you have an EU licence (i.e. a licence issued by EU country), you can use it for up to 2 years in Spain before...

Re: Is this the end for Expats that want to move from the UK to Spain post brexi

Re: Is this the end for Expats that want to move from the UK to Spain post brexi

Re: Is this the end for Expats that want to move from the UK to Spain post brexi
