I suggest you look at Lakes on Eldridge, Lakes on Eldridge North and Twin Lakes - all are gated communities which are very popular with expats and they are very close to your husband's work.

SSN for teenage L2 Holder

How easy is it for my teenage son to obtain a SSN if he is a L2 holder and is under the age of 18? I understand he has to have a SSN for his driver's permit.

From what I understand the US High School Dip is not recognised by English Unis (possibly Scottish). Your son would have to do AP classes to get into a decent English uni. The British School does...

Many families live in Lakes on Eldridge, Lakes on Eldridge North or Twin Lakes, 5 miles north of I10 off Eldridge Parkway. Both schools have school buses that serve these communities.

From what I understand the rules have changed over the last couple of years and you are no longer allowed to check them in as excess baggage and pet carriage is just another extra cost that airlines...

We used Airpets to arrange board and travel for our dogs to the US and I know they do quarentine although not too sure of the cost. Defra has a list of approved quarentine premises on their website.

We have very recently moved to Houston from the UK. We banked with HSBC in the UK and they set us up with a US HSBC Premier a/c - it is free to transfer $ to sterling and vice versa at market rates...
