Re: BFT - **SPOILER - OFFICIAL BE THREAD OF THE WORLD CUP**

not really, I was rooting for Trinidad & Tobago, because i thought that they played a classy game against Sweden. :)

I think good sportsmanship and skill should be rewarded by fan support, not the...

Re: BFT - **SPOILER - OFFICIAL BE THREAD OF THE WORLD CUP**

I'm sorry, I cannot agree with that Machiavellian way of thinking. Granted, no one likes to lose all the time, but I'd rather support a team that tries, sticks with the rules, and loses, then support...

Re: BFT - **SPOILER - OFFICIAL BE THREAD OF THE WORLD CUP**

Close, but he doesn't beat Ronaldinho's chompers! In other words, I'd rather be kissed by that man than ronaldinho :p

EDIT: My prediction: Spain over England by 1 goal, and it will be low-scoring...

Re: BFT - **SPOILER - OFFICIAL BE THREAD OF THE WORLD CUP**

It is in our culture to ridicule what we don't understand. Also, to wear ugly clothes and speak loudly when we visit other countries :p

And I don't care HOW many WCs Balboa has played in. I seem...

Re: BFT - **SPOILER - OFFICIAL BE THREAD OF THE WORLD CUP**

I wish I wasn't at work :(

Reading the play-by-play on MatchCast isn't quite the same thing. I hope Ghana at least puts up a brave showing for the game, although we can assume Brazil will make...

Re: BFT - **SPOILER - OFFICIAL BE THREAD OF THE WORLD CUP**

I have a question:

What's with thumb-sucking after goals? I thought I saw a Mexican guy do it the other day, and possibly a European guy?

Re: BFT - **SPOILER - OFFICIAL BE THREAD OF THE WORLD CUP**

Let me just say that as an American, I'm embarrassed by all the crap commentary this World Cup. I find myself watching most of the games on Univision, just so I don't have to hear Balboa and O'Brien...

Re: Change of address forms?

Ok, just had a chance to look at the AR-11 form. Am I seeing things or does that form need to be completed and mailed to ENGLAND? I'd have expected we'd send it to some Homeland Security office here...

Re: Change of address forms?

Thanks Rene! Do we have to keep doing this everytime we move, up till he becomes a citizen? There is nothing outstanding, he's a free and clear PR now.

Change of address forms?

Hey all,

I haven't been back on these boards in a while (I guess that's what happens when all your paperwork goes smoothly :) ), but I have a question now, that I've searched for and can't find...

Re: What constitutes "work" while waiting on the AOS?

I assumed it would be bad to work while he's still waiting for the EAD, correct? It's actually a dual concern: the immigration side (working without an EAD), and the IRS side (when does a hobby cross...

Re: What constitutes "work" while waiting on the AOS?

Thanks both of you! I'll just have him start logging his hours, and if he's getting close to the mark we'll know to do something.

Ian, were you legally able to work in the US when you went over...

Re: Relocating to the US on the Fiance Visa

It would have to be a DAMNED awesome course for me to shell out that kind of money. I think my parents' Depression-era mentality must have rubbed off on me. Mom would be so PROUD! :p

Why would anyone cripple themselves financially like that? She'll be...

Re: AOS Question re: USC's tax returns

I didn't submit W-2s, but I'm divorced from my first husband. All I gave them was two years of photocopied 1040s, a tax transcript from the IRS for the 3rd year, photocopies of my paystubs for this...

Re: AOS Question re: USC's tax returns

I just submitted 2 years of photocopied 1040s and one tax transcript for the 3rd year (I seemed to have mis-placed that year's tax return). The Immigration officer reviewing it all didn't bat an eye,...

Re: Divorce and Immigration
