I was surprised to see in the article that bats are the only known carrier in BC, I would have thought skunks and raccoons would be carriers as well.

I kind of wonder if where we live in the issue. This morning again woke up to the smell of exhaust in the bedroom, we live on a major street and lots of semi-trucks in the area due to the port.

Yeah that is how I feel, one back problem needing surgery would be more costly than lifetime cost of insurance. I feel its good value, vet bills can rack up quickly.

I noticed the days where I go and do things/errands, I end up exhausted and feeling worse and coughing like mad, where today I stayed home and did very little and not feeling as bad, still low energy...

I had to delete the YVR photo group on facebook, the pictures just make me feel bad. Up's and down's but the job itself wasn't horrible, being around airplanes is in itself fun.
