probably 100% if its through a accredited employer on a work to residence visa.
Unless you have some alarm bells things like a serious medical problem or police history its a pretty straight forward...

I renews mine about 6 weeks ago. I had no problems what so ever.
There is massive delays with some people thou. I don't know why or what the problem is. It's on the news quite alot about the delays...

no The small trailers is similar to the old UK licence were u didn't need to have a Class B+E u just drive it on a car licence under the weights.

Also in the UK they have stopped the B+E test now...

The class 3 and 5 is for trailers. 2 and 4 is rigids
need to look up the weight limits for each.

I got my class 5 and bridge engineering shite aswell lol

to be fair I think the most I have ever spent commuting was when I was in Auckland. Had a company vehicle so didn't really care about diesel or RUC.

The UK is no where near the level of NZ affordable housing.
Most British people can still get on housing ladder easy aslong as you live outside easy daily commute distance of London. I'm 1hour 40 on...

If you move to Canterbury from Auckland or London with a property with decent bit equity then you will prob find Christchurch affordable.
