Re: Intercompany Transfer

yeah I believe it'd be an L-1b due to not being management. Even if I get the promotion to Salary I have set in mind, that still may not cut it as it's only an engineers role. Years doesn't bother...

Re: Intercompany Transfer

Apologies maybe I should have been a little clearer.

I'm referring the the rule of thumb to work in the US with the company you obtained your visa with for a minimum of two years in the US, prior...

I've flown once with Virgin and Once with United now, my next upcoming flight is united. So far my experiences have led me to prefer Virgin - but the flight was practically empty and I ended up...

Re: Starting out, Job hunting from the UK to SC

I'd rather not get dragged in to that taa. I just agreed it'd be nice to spend some time with my OH before cementing the idea to get married. Personal preference, some people are different.

as...

Re: Starting out, Job hunting from the UK to SC

I wholeheartedly agree with this, hence why I think it's fairly vital to spend time living together prior to cementing a marriage. Marriage between the two of us was mentioned because we want to be...

Re: Starting out, Job hunting from the UK to SC

Honestly this is my thought currently, though costs for a 4 year degree are very high. I'm hoping to find a shorter, more affordable course (i.e. a personal training certification, like i have found...

Re: Starting out, Job hunting from the UK to SC

Unsure how this relates to questions asked regarding Visas, but if it's personal details you're after then fine. I'll openly admit yes, there is a small theme to sidestepping here, but none of which...

Re: Starting out, Job hunting from the UK to SC

I agree, though it is not my decision, simply respecting hers for personal reasons relating to seeing failed "rushed" marriages in the past.

Either way if I were to apply to a B2 I'd have to tell...

Re: Starting out, Job hunting from the UK to SC

yeah I'm aware, certainly don't want any of that frankly.

Re: Starting out, Job hunting from the UK to SC

So this would lead to my current ESTA (still valid for over a year) being revoked?

Frustrating, because there are also certifications in CAD programs I was looking to achieve in that time that...

Re: Starting out, Job hunting from the UK to SC

I'm struggling a little with the most recent point actually, i.e. why I would not be able to apply for a B-2 visa and stay for 6 months/ over 90 days? as the US website states:

Therefore I...

Ford give sabbaticals of up to 4 years after being employed for a minimum of 3, perfectly possible for me to obtain one, and decide my fate with the company later down the line.

Was probably...
