If you are coming down the m7 head for anywhere between Balatonfuzfő and Balatonfüred. You can then use route 8 to head towards Slovenia. Lots of lovely wine festivals around here starting 1 August...

There are regular buses between Veszprem train station and the bus station. Not sure why they aren’t shown on the Menetrend app. Think it is a different company...Have always found the trains good...
