Sure ... I got a couple of starting interviews through the phone but nothing else. I should try to give them a phone call and see if it works better than sending just an e-mail.

No, not yet. For now I just want to know if from an L1 I could move to a GC. I won't bother my employer to move me on the NY office until I am sure there is an open route from L1 to GC.

As per my understanding, if they apply for an L1A (manager), I will get the GC in less than 2 years while if they apply for an L1B I may not get the GC at all.
