Checked with overseas branch of UK Tax- you will be taxed on Navy pension in NZ only. Most countries this isn't the case and forces pensions are taxed in UK- but the man checked for me and thinks...

Yes- I can't find much at all about pension and retiring overseas. I'll let you know about the non-index linking at 55- I can't see it is the case but best to know before you get a very expensive...

Yes- HiFX seem really good. Hubby was going to not commute and use monthly amount to fund us in NZ. But someone has told him that the forces pension won't be increased with inflation at 55? I know...

Cheers- I will log on to them in a minute and get an idea of one way flights. I am hoping to get PR visa soon- it is taking an age! Seems one way tickets are cheaper but not by much from rmy esearch...

The time allowed in the EOI pool has gone up from 3 to 6 months so it is still worth going ahead with. Just wait a bit longer to stick your EOI in - to see if you can get a job offer in the meantime...

Have read it- still worse than before for people without job offers but have the 100 points- like me!! Hopefully I am too far along line with process to be affected but there are a lot of grey areas...
