Question UK flights - booked via UK travel agent?

Hi all,

We are about to book NZ-UK-NZ flights for July this year.

As prices are pretty steep if you book in NZ is it possible to book these flights using a UK site i.e. Airnz.co.uk or a UK...

You could also look at comapnies such as HiFX who specialise in foreign transfers and may get you a better rate/deal :thumbsup:

We are also with Nationwide and they have allowed us to rent out our property on our 'normal' mortgage for 3 years, after 3 years they will expect us to pay the extra 1.5%, change to a buy-to-let...

Same for us. We are renting out our property in the UK through a letting agent and have done for the last year. They handle everything to do with getting and paying us the rent and also carry out...

Once we got PR I told work that we were emigrating. I gave them a rough date which gave them about 3 months notice! We didnt have jobs and were job hunting from the UK. We didnt have much luck...

People were without power for a long period for a couple of reasons:
1. It was an ongoing storm (and still is) so either the power is restored and then the network gets bashed again or it is unsafe...

If you could see the amount of damage to the electricity network you may have a different opinon, the storm didn't really stop on a particular area but affected the whole of the North Island. ;)

I am also with 2degrees and have had no problems so far, everything is very easy to set up and use. I have an unlocked UK Nokia N96 that works fine over here. :D

We were/are in much the same position as you. We have a rental property in the UK - rent is paid into our UK Nationwide account and there is a bit left over each month after mortgage is taken...

Unless its going to be difficult for you to get a visa I would do it yourselves. We applied ourselves and it was a lot cheaper than using an agent!
