The last service we had done on the Eos was about $3k from memory :eek: I was overseas when the ex took it in. I would have hit the roof at that but I don't know if he even questioned it :unsure:

Yes those Mazdas are nice, my neighbour has one. I just like the European motors though ... and as he's paying for it, I thought I might as well get my money's worth! :lol:

Fair point but I'd probs buy from a dealer so I'd get warranty etc anyway. If the car is only 3-4 years old, which is what I'm looking at, I'd hope that it would still be in reasonable nick, no?...

There's plenty. My ex was one of them (yes, an Aussie). If you move around it's very easy to get under the radar. They don't generally chase you up too vigilantly.
