Thanks everyone... believe it or not... we found Ikea to have UK size mattresses!! Never even thought... LOL

We will probably buy Australian size later on as they are bigger :) but for now......

Hiya...........

We've looked in Forty Winks, Bedshed... all the normal places to get beds/mattresses from, but their sizes here seem different (slightly bigger by a few cm) compared to UK size...

hi there.....

hope someone who has had this done can tell me pls

if i need to renew my passport, do i need to have the oz visa stamp put back in before i can fly? or do i just carry both...

so we had our "visa" in our passports, then we took a trip to perth few months back... and had a stamp in our passports like everyone else did

no questions re: the visa/etc
no special stamps/etc...

Hiya... we were in Perth last week.. for about a week, so only managed to get into Coles & K-mart to get some bits like bread, milk, etc

and my god.... things were EXPENSIVE (understatement)...

thanks so much!! its not a problem "selling" the house just when! we've had LOTS of positive feedbacks from all the viewings, but all these people are downsizing but still expecting the same space...

My 2 pence worth.. might be biased, as I have only flown with these two.. Singapore or Malaysian!
I have always thought twice about flying with other cheaper airlines... with prices not that far...

same bed frame £179 here, and $499 in WA!!!!!!!!

apparently fridges won't..? :ohmy: so we're not taking ours... using it to the last day :) something about it won't withstand the heat in oz
