Re: Championship League Football Foxtel Saturday 7th May

5-0 to Place. And 1 nil to Leeds against QPhaha would do nicely.

And I will be @ the Walkabout in Shepherds bush for pre match beer.

Re: Meaning : Further medical results referred ??

Re: 2 year comitment?

We got a passport for our new baby in less than 2 weeks. Filled out the online form so they send them pre printed, sent them off with pics. Very impressed with the turnaround time.

Re: police checks simple caution

Well it's all as clear as mud to me. I am led to believe a Caution is the same as a Conviction. I have searched the web & found it may very well stay on your record until you are 100 years old!

Re: Australia - My honest opinions

Well obviously you are very perceptive. I guess if you saw me you would be able to tell if I were French, German, or from another part of Europe. Hope those mentioned in the OP message were as clever...

Re: Australia - My honest opinions

I would imagine that those not actually from Pakistan may have a problem with it? Have you "asked" somebody that is not from Pakistan what they think?

Re: Should I Ship?

Surely you have answered your own question. if the stuff isn't worth what it will cost to ship there seems little point? unless of course they carry sentimental value.

Re: police checks simple caution

Sorry you are right, I could have been clearer.

As it happens I had never heard of a "simple caution" until today either.

Re: Australia - My honest opinions

Sure sounds like an insult to me. Very much the type of thing that was prevalent here in the 80's when I was growing up.

How were they to know where they were from? perhaps they could have been...

Re: WA SS Application July 09 any news on?

We applied 3rd July, got the Sponsorship on 23rd November. Unless there are more changes doesn't look likely it's going to help our application though.

Hopefully you don't have too long before...

Re: Brief Window of Hope for 176 SS applicants

Re: Brief Window of Hope for 176 SS applicants

We are in the same boat as you, except we applied in Oct '08. For us it looks like at least 2012. So as you applied 1 year later some time after that!

Yes, I can confirm it's free applied last week & have just got an email confirmation saying waiting is at least 3 months. Wish we had done it in January when the changes were made.

Re: 175 & not on CSL

Thanks Gilly, WA wouldn't have been our 1st choice. In fact it would have been behind QLD, NWS & VIC. Have good friends in all those places but none in Western Australia. Lets hope after July they...
