The EU is not punishing the UK. It's simply negotiating the best it can for its citizens. And yes the UK voter doesn't matter anymore for the EU because they are no EU citizens anymore

I don't think you can dictate what is important to the EU. If fish is important to the EU it's fish. Also if fish is not important to the UK why not back down give the EU what it wants and move on.

The UK ended some major deal because joining the EEC was even more beneficial then those FTAs. It is was in a bad position when it joined. So much for thepower of FTAs.

I know quite a few Germans that left the UK. I also know Germans that stayed. Mainly because their kids are in school there and settled. They still are ok with living in the UK. But the attitude...
